Sara Bell is a girl after my own heart because she, too, takes care of her grandma.
I met Sara Bell in the Caregiver Collective, a Facebook group solely for millennial caregivers.
I sat down with Sara to get the scoop on her caregiving journey.
Sara became her grandma’s primary caregiver after her grandfather passed away. Sara left her 9-5 to launch a business that met her needs for flexibility and freedom while caring for her grandma. Sara took care of her grandma full time for a year. During that time, she and her Gma took a cross-country road trip and she gave her grandma an AMAZING life. Sara then supported her through a transition to a memory care facility, diligently researching options, asking questions, and investigating to make sure her grandma would be living in the best place possible.
Sara shared how her outlook on life and what is important was transformed
through her caregiving experience.
Sara has even written a children’s book, called Nana Forgot My Name, which is available on Kindle. (GIVEAWAY ALERT: I will be giving away a copy of her book at the blogiversary party, so be sure and join us!)
Sara’s got it goin’ on!
I can’t wait to share her story with you! Join me right here at TakingCareofGrandma.com on May 23! At the celebration, you will meet Sara and four other amazing family caregivers. I promise you will be inspired!!!
